Curtis Anderson serves as executive vice president and chief credit officer (CCO) for Texas Capital Bank. He is responsible for credit approval, underwriting and monitoring, as well as the Commercial Banking Development Program and the Petroleum Engineering team.
Anderson, who joined Texas Capital Bank in 2015, previously served as a senior credit officer, providing credit approval for segments of Commercial and Industrial, Private Wealth, and certain specialty lending units. He also provided oversight of the bank’s credit development and training programs.
Before joining Texas Capital Bank, Anderson spent more than 25 years at Bank of America and its predecessors, serving in a broad range of senior, credit-focused positions.
Anderson earned his bachelor of arts in business administration from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas. He also received a Spanish language degree from the University of Kansas and a master of business administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Anderson is active in the North Texas community and serves in a variety of civic roles. He is a leader in his church, having chaired its finance and personnel committees. He has been a team leader for United Way and volunteers for a variety of charitable organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, March of Dimes, and Hearts and Hammers. He currently serves on the Risk Management Association Texas Chapter board of directors.
