Julie Anderson serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Texas Capital Bank, and the Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for its parent company, Texas Capital Bancshares, Inc. She joined the company in February 1999 shortly after its formation. Her responsibilities include managing all accounting and external financial reporting functions for the company, as well as financial planning and funds management for the Bank. Texas Capital Bancshares was a start-up in 1998, launched its IPO in 2003, and has currently grown to over $22 billion in assets.
During her tenure at Texas Capital, Anderson has led and managed a wide range of initiatives and policies critical to the Company's success. She has been heavily involved in multiple offerings of the Company's common stock, as well as a debt issuance and a preferred stock offering, that were necessary to support the rapid growth experienced since 1999. In addition, she was responsible for all aspects of implementation and maintaining compliance with requirements of Sarbanes Oxley, the SEC and numerous banking regulations. Anderson is responsible for managing the relationship with Texas Capital's external auditors, and in that connection she has dealt with numerous and significant accounting changes and regulatory requirements affecting public companies, banks and Texas Capital.
Anderson began her career in assurance services as a CPA with Ernst & Young, LLP. Anderson left E&Y as an audit manager in October 1996 to assume direct responsibilities in financial planning for a publicly traded company in the financial services industry.
Anderson holds Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees in accounting from the University of North Texas. Anderson is a CPA.
