Jonathan E. Baliff

Director
Texas Capital Bancshares, Inc.

Jonathan Baliff serves on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Texas Capital Bancshares, Inc., the parent company of Texas Capital Bank.

After almost a decade serving on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, Jonathan Baliff has been a leader in the energy and infrastructure sector for over 25 years as both a public company senior executive and investment and commercial banker.

Most recently, Jonathan was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bristow Group (NYSE: BRS), the world’s largest commercial helicopter and industrial aviation company serving the energy and government sectors. He served as Bristow’s Chief Financial Officer from 2010 to 2014 until his appointment to CEO. During his tenure at Bristow (through both growing and declining markets), the company consistently led its peers in safety, operational and financial performance, while significantly diversifying the company’s revenue through new organic business development and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Bristow Group in 2010, Mr. Baliff was the Executive Vice President for Strategy at NRG Energy, where he led the development and implementation of NRG’s overall strategy, with a particular emphasis and success in acquisitions and commercial alliances that created new alternative energy and retail businesses.

Before joining NRG in 2008, Mr. Baliff was a Managing Director in Credit Suisse’s Global Energy Group, where he advised energy companies on over $50 billion in merger and acquisition assignments and project and corporate financings starting in 1997. Mr. Baliff started his business career with J.P. Morgan’s Natural Resource Group in 1995. The 13 years between 1995 and 2008 saw the global energy sector undergo significant technological and regulatory changes, in which Mr. Baliff participated as advisor in privatizations, acquisitions and large-scale project development.

On active duty in the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Baliff served in numerous assignments flying F-4 Phantom fighter aircraft until 1993, including the first combat missions during the first Gulf War.
