Texas Capital Community Development Corporation - Weaving Communities with Relationship Banking

In 2007, Texas Capital Bank committed to making a difference in the communities in which it operates by launching the Texas Capital Community Development Corportaion (TCCDC).  TCCDC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Texas Capital Bank that focuses on financing affordable housing projects, including housing for the elderly and  transitional housing for the homeless.  TCCDC offers loans and/or equity investments in small businesses that create jobs in low- or moderate-income areas and makes loans to nonprofits that provide services to the community.

Under the leadership of President Keith Cargill, the bank and TCCDC launched the West Dallas Partnership in 2010.  West Dallas Partnership works with community groups, civic and political leaders, and for-profit and nonprofit organizations to help individuals and families in low- and moderate-income areas in Dallas.

One of the first actions of the West Dallas Partnership was the adoption of the George W. Carver Elementary School. TCCDC supports the school with computers, money and supplies. West Dallas Partnership also supplies a third meal of the day for needy children through its collaboration with Hunger Busters, and supports a number of other Dallas-based nonprofit organizations.

Encouraged by its partnership with West Dallas, TCCDC recently launched the Inner City Houston Partnership, which
has already adopted a school and several nonprofit organizations in Houston’s Third Ward.

Texas Capital Community Development Corporation plans to continue its community service initiative by launching partnerships in each of the remaining regions in which Texas Capital Bank operates.
