Workout Loan Officer, 2000 McKinney Ave. Dallas, TX

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
Five or more years of loan workout experience
Understanding of legal remedies available in loan default scenarios and ability to work effectively with outside attorneys
Experience and knowledge of Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of banking principles, policies and procedures
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes
Computer literate with a complete understanding of Microsoft Office programs and Excel
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally

Responsibilities:

Formulate and implement litigation strategies with outside counsel
Properly manage risk rating of each loan assigned to the portfolio
Properly manage charge off recommendations to management
Prepare monthly reports for senior management
Monitor delinquent loans
Review credit quality of files to determine appropriate course of action
Responsible for the maintenance and restructure of classified loans as necessary
Act as liaison and work closely within the special assets department
