Sr. Business Continuity Analyst, 2350 Lakeside Blvd. Richardson, Texas
Requirements:
- 3-5 years business continuity planning/testing/analysis experience
- IT/DR experience including planning and executing disaster recovery tests
- Demonstrated understanding of banking operations/processes and the regulatory environments governing banking operations
- Demonstrated understanding of the technological infrastructure and applications used within a banking environment
- Bachelor's degree with MIS distribution or equivalent
- Experience using and maintaining business continuity planning database software
- Detailed oriented and reliable with strong analytical, problem solving, project management and time management skills
- Able to work independently
- Knowledge of information security and risk management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access)
- Preferred certifications: CBCP, ITIL, v3, FEMA-PDS
Responsibilities:
- Develop enterprise-wide workflows for each critical process/function and determine critical path for recovery
- Validates RTOs and RPOs for each critical function/process
- Reviews and validates workarounds and manual procedures are fully documented and complete
- Works with the Information Technology team to ensure disaster recovery capabilities meet business recovery requirements
- Develops enterprise-wide and critical department testing plans
- Conducts business resumption planning meetings with line of business subject matter experts
- Directs pre-test meetings, testing exercises and post-test meetings
- Identifies gaps on a departmental and enterprise-wide level
- Maintains enterprise-wide business continuity plans, including incident and emergency plans
- Acts as a liasion with Information Technology to coordinate the development and maintenance of BCP elements related to technology
- Develops strategies for emergency and incident management
- Assists with the maintenance of the business continuity risk register
- Serves as a consultant to Vendor Management, Internal Audit and other risk management units
