Senior Operational Risk Analyst, 2350 Lakeside Blvd. Richardson, TX
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business or 5 years of relevant bank operations or financial services experience
• Certification or experience in audit, risk or compliance a plus
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
• Demonstrated ability in communicating effectively, both verbally and written
• Work independently with a minimum amount of supervision
• Well organized and detail oriented to handle diverse and concurrent assignments
• Experienced in risk management, auditing, operations or compliance
• Knowledge of any or all of bank deposit, wire transfer, ACH, treasury management or branch operations
• Sound understanding of banking regulations and processes
• Strong Microsoft application knowledge (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook) and aptitude for grasping and using various bank software applications
Responsibilities:
• Administer and execute the bank’s operational risk management program
• Coordinate with senior managers to determine the timing and level of effort to assess risks and related controls
• Capture detailed review data and summarize into senior management-level reports
• Develop and modify operational policies and procedures
• Interact with other bank risk and compliance personnel on documentation and reporting to ensure compliance and effective use of resources
• Participate in various product or program initiatives as needed
• Assist with training efforts on procedural changes and enhancements
